Lazy day.

Its a lazy Sunday. I woke up at 11 A.M to find the house empty. I made some rice noodles with chicken and bak choy. It was yummy. Then I just turned on my laptop to do the usual Facebook, check email, and of course Youtube. I am starting to get bored watching the same gurus on Youtube. It seems like they do the same look only a slight difference of a shade or so lighter or darker. And all those hair tutorials get on my nerves. Because people have different hair types, the end results may not look the same. Then I remembered that I had to run a few errands but I did not even get a chance to do any of that. I was supposed to drop my coat and scarf off at the dry cleaners. I decided not to go because it is like below freezing out there.

The fun part. Getting ready for work! I actually like getting ready for work. It helps gives me a reason to get dressed up and put on makeup. But today was a lazy day so I decided to go for something more laid back and comfortable. I put on my black cardigan, green top, a pair of jeggings, riding boots, and slapped on a chucky antique gold necklace and called it a day. As for my makeup, I decided to revisit a few products I haven't really touched in a while. I put on my Makeup Forever HD foundation. I usually use my Dior one but the Makeup Forever is more hydrating. Something that I haven't used in FOREVER is my MAC select cover up. I use to love it so much until I discovered Dior makeup. Haha. I set my foundation with my MAC studio fix powder. Moving on to the cheeks, I used my mineralize skin finish powder in Sunny By Nature which gives such a beautiful luminescent glow to my face. I topped it off with NARS orgasm blush. I always have to fill in my eyebrows so I used my brow powder. And something I never really do is curl my lashes. So I did that today and put on some mascara, Benefit BAD GAL LASH. And I finished everything with my MAC fix plus. It may sound like a lot but I really like the way my skin looks afterward. It looks even, smooth and extremely glow. And the best part is that it looks completely natural.

Let's make it worth while.

This my poor attempt to reviving this blog. I moved on to Tumblr. Its actually way more fun than this (Sorry Blogspot!) But anyway, I made a list of things to do. I have to clean the house before the Queens gets home. Jesus. Okay time to go....

Caramel Apple Spice and Makeup ♥

I love giving people a makeover. It gives a boost of confidence and enhances a person's natural beauty. Today I gave my friend Cyllan a makeover. I think she is gorgeous as she is, but with the help of makeup she is even more beautiful. We had a quick chill day at my house. We had homemade fried rice, steamed pork buns, and caramel apple spice drinks just like Starbucks! The trick is to bring the apple juice to a boil to make the apple juice more concentrated. After much eating and chatting, we finally exchanged Christmas gifts. I got her the Diorshow mascara and eyeliner and remover set. And I also paired it with a pale pink lipgloss from Pixi. Cyllan got me panties! Haha. I was really in need of some new underwear. So I guess its nice to have a lifetime supply. Then I did her hair and makeup! Cyllan's hair is insane. It has a life of its own. I helped tame it with some Sebastian Whipped Creme. And with the miracle of flat irons, I was able to smooth and curl her hair at the same time. After hair it was time for makeup. Since I didn't have too much time to do her makeup, I went for a really light fresh look. I used Korres Facial Primer to smooth and prep the skin, followed by L'oreal Infalliable Foundation. I actually really like that foundation because it is easy to blend and last all day. Then I used powder to set followed by blush and bronzer. I always like to give a healthy glow for all my makeup looks. And as for the eyes, I used an eyeshadow brush and swiped some shimmery white and peachy pink on the lids. I finished by lining the eyes with liner and mascara. Sadly after that, Cyllan had to go to work.

I spent the rest of my day watching videos online and doing my own makeup. Sometimes I really hate doing my own makeup because its often repetitive. But today I did something sorta out of the ordinary. I went for an extreme winged eye with nude glossy lips and a flawless face. I think I did a pretty decent job.
